Ardbeg's Ardbog Single Malt is a special, limited edition whisky with refined contrasting flavors. Typical of Ardbeg whisky, this too is heavily peat inspired, along with the deep and marshy bogs which give it is compelling flavors and Scottish touch. On the nose, it is deep and enticing for a taste, full of aromatic hints of salty and savory notes. On the palate, it has an initial full and oily mouth, which is then overpowered by its salty and savory flavors of salted cashews and peanuts, clove, aniseed flavored toffee, green olives and a slight hint of anchovy.
