Released in time for the Ardbeg day in 2014, the Ardbeg Auriverdes is distilled with care and precision. Rumoured to be a bit on the spicy end because of the toasted cask lids in which it was aged in. On the palate, it has a mocha coffee flavor, which is then overpowered by the creamy vanilla once the top notes fade. The finishing notes are smooth and lingering, with hints of delectable smokey vanilla.
