Rose

Rosé wine is produced by lightly crushing red grapes and being left to soak with red grape skins for a short amount of time. After this maceration process, the juice is drained and fermented in large tanks.

Colour will differ depending on how long the grape skins are left to soak with the wine. For example, a longer duration will cause a darker Rosé.

Rosé can be made from just about any grape and is not used from any particular grape variety. Some of the more popular grapes used in Rosé include; Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Pinot Noir.

This wine is perfect for any food occasion. It’s a versatile wine that sits nicely between red and white wines.

Rosé is typically a light-alcohol wine with ABV ranging between 5% - 8.5%.
