Organic & Preservative Free White Wine
What is the difference between Organic and Preservative Free White Wine?
For a wine to be certified organic it must adhere to the principles of organic farming which means that no pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or artificial chemical fertilisers can be used on the grapes in the vineyard. Farmers use methods to create a natural ecosystem which eliminates the need for artificial chemicals.
Preservative Free White Wine is when no preservatives are added during the process of winemaking. Although, during the winemaking process a natural preservative, sulphur dioxide, is released so it actually means no preservatives were added.
