Tasting notes:
Colour: Deep Ruby.
Aroma: A glorious persistent nose which constantly is changing the longer it is open to develop. Initial hints of a lovely soft spice which develops to more of a cassis aroma.
Palate: Soft & succulent, although the palate is quite elegant the tannins provide a firm mouth feel with lovely red fruits.
Finish: The red fruits continue to a medium/long finish.
Serving Suggestion: Lamb shanks.

The Circle of Life Red is not a wine that is driven by a particular varietal or a specific parcel of a vineyard, nor constrained by a traditional blending style, for example a Bordeaux or Rhône blend, but rather an elegant expression of the philosophy & totality of Waterkloof, as well as the vintage.
