A rare older bottling from this famous Island, the Jura has a lovely colour of old oak and having spent its life in a refill Oloroso sherry Hogshead. On the nose we found space hoppers, window putty and oodles of marzipan, fruitcake, Nutella and rice pudding, with syrup and a fair amount of funk. The palate delivers Underberg bitters, juicy sultanas, sugared almonds, Stolen cake with clove syrup, and finishing herbaceous.
