In a first for the Distillery, we have taken Ardbeg single malt from ex-Bourbon casks, rested it awhile in ex-rum casks from the Americas, giving us…Ardbeg Drum.
Aromas of fresh pine resin and woodsmoke combine with ripe banana, pineapple, smoked apple and cocoa powder.
On the palate, Ardbeg’s characteristic smokiness is softened by rich notes of dark chocolate and toasted vanilla. The finish delivers flavours of roasted coffee liqueur and sweet spices.
Non chill-filtered at 46% ABV.
