Whisky overview:
The Benromach Chateau Cissac Cask is a limited edition expression in the whisky range. It is laden with decadent flavors which it acquires from maturation in first fill bourbon casks and finished in 25 months hand-selected casks. From this, it acquires its vivacious melon, apple and orange zesty notes, with underlying hints of floral and charred oak overtones. There's a mild bitterness mid-way, which is gradually overpowered by hints of grapefruit and orange peel, leaving a lingering citrus after-taste.
About Benromach:
Established in 1898, Benromach distillery is the smallest distillery in Speyside with just two dedicated whisky craftsman. Hidden in the highlands of Scotland, this small distillery produced approximately half a million liters of whisky annually. Known for its signature smokey flavors, Benromach has become an ultimate favorite among many.
