The original Bulleit Bourbon recipe can be traced all the way back to the 1830’s. In 1987, Thomas E. Bulleit Jr would establish the Bulleit Distilling Company and bring back his great-great-grandfathers, Augustus Bulleit, bourbon recipe that had been idle for many years.
Thomas E.Bulleit would risk it all to chase success in the bourbon industry. He would leave his law practice to invest his time solely into making great tasting bourbon.
Carefully selected ingredients are used in the recipe including, corn, barley malt and rye filtered Kentucky limestone water.
