Springbank was founded in 1828 in Campbeltown, which they once called the “whisky capital of the world”.
They are the only distillery in Scotland to complete 100% of the production process in one location. Springbank uses a unique method that involves lightly peated barley and a two-and-a-half distillation process. The 17-year-old Sherry Wood displays a warm, golden appearance with rich fruity flavours combined with fruitcake, soft toffee, ripe cherries and coffee.
