1800 Anejo Tequila is named after the year the world’s first premium tequila was introduced - 1800. To this day, 1800 Anejo keeps to its original recipe and distillation method.
Each bottle is made using 100% Weber blue agave picked at the ideal age ranging between 8 and 12 years. The tequila is aged for at least 14 months in French Oak Barrels.
The end product is a well-rounded tequila with strong flavours of vanilla, butterscotch and toasted oak.
A popular 1800 Anejo cocktail is 2 oz. of tequila with ½ oz. of agave syrup, ½ oz. of lemon juice and half of a serrano pepper. Mix all ingredients in a shaker and double strain into a rocks glass and garnish with sugar.
