Whisky Overview:
The Ardbeg Blasda Single Malt Whisky hails from Islay, Scotland and is pleasant combination of flavors. Unlike the other variants of Ardbeg, Blasda is delicate, with reduced peated levels. On the nose, the first aromas resemble baked banoffe pie and roasted chestnuts. Hints of pine cloves, fresh mint, creamy vanilla custard, a tingle of lemon and lime marmalade, followed by a breath of menthol and sea salt, deep ripe fruits fuse with almond and vanilla then settle after the top notes fade. On the palate, the initial tastes are sweet, with a lingering after taste of spices and creamy cappuccino, giving its warmth and depth of taste.
