Whisky Overview:
The Ardbeg Uigeadail is named after the loch that the company sources their pure water from. This is fine whisky pick, thanks to the strong notes of smoke, leather, dried fruits and walnut oil. Matured in aged bourbon and sherry casks, the top notes are primarily that of Christmas pudding, glazed smoked ham, with a finish of clove-driven spice, leaving a minty, spicy after-taste.
Tasting notes:
Colour: Deep gold.
Aroma: Abundance of peat with a brown sugar note is followed by a coffee mocha note.
Palate: Rich & full flavoured with an initial sweet hint making way to a full spice & smoky note.
Finish: Long & chewy with the mocha notes continuing which is well complimented by the peat smoke.
Alcohol Percentage: 54.2%.
