Whisky overview:
Berry Bros 21 Year Old Westport
Nose: Vanilla pods, lemon curd, oak shavings, cinnamon and nutmeg, spun sugar, white pepper, banana lollies, sweet with a slight acetone note on the nose
Palate: Slight bit of heat, warming the mouth, sweetness immediately, with the vanilla and banana lollies, apricots, fruit salad with pears, bananas, apricots, pineapple, lots of fruit, so dangerously drinkable despite the abv.
Finish: bloody long, dry and sweet, I want more, a bit of fruit on the end. Very very dangerous.
