Whisky Overview:
The name Bosque Verde is Gaelic for “Green Grove” the name of the family farm for owners Neil & Dean Druce. It reflects the influence of a family business in the sometimes corporate world of the whisky production. These whiskies have been matured in American Oak barrels that have previously contained Australian fortified red wine (or Port).
About Corowa Distillery:
In 2010, Corowa Distilling Co. Founder Dean Druce was brought up learning the family business of wheat, chocolate and liquorice in the small town of Junee, NSW. The plot for whisky making was bought for $1.00, under the condition that it be restored to its former glory, and so it has. The founders have long shared their passion for whisky making and have been fortunate to spend time learning how to make whisky from well known master distillers in Scotland.
