This red wine cask was distilled in 2012 and has matured completely in a single cask type The casks hail from Douro Valley, Portugal, and are hand-selected by the founder of Kilchoman - Anthony Willis.
Like the rest of the Kilchoman range, this red wine cask release is peated and non-chill filtered. This release, in particular, has a red coppery colour thanks to the extraction from the oak casks.
