Limeburners was established in 2004 by Cameron Syme. The whisky company own the title for being Western Australia’s first distillery that could legally produce single malt whiskey.
Since Limeburners inception into the whisky market they have received a bronze medal at the prestigious International Wine & Spirits competition in London, including an array of other awards.
The Sherry Cask 43% is distilled in small batch copper stills with local West Australian barley.
The whisky is matured in old bourbon barrels before being transferred to Australian sherry casks, which allows it to develop an excitement of aromas.
If you drink this whisky on its own you will taste a mix of fruit and spices. If you wish to enjoy over ice you will unleash hints of sherry, vanilla and honey.
