McHenry Single Malt Whisky is made at the William McHenry Distillery located on the Tasman Peninsula next to Mount Arthur.
The distillery has the luxury of having some of the cleanest air in the world and also claims the title of the southernmost family-run distillery on the planet.
McHenry Single Malt is aged in American oak barrels for four years and then finished for an additional year in a French oak blood tub.
The golden coloured whisky has a delightful mix of fruit and spice flavours. The palate will initially detect citrus fruits and clean wood. As the drink unfolds you will notice chocolate and almonds before being finished with floral and toffee notes. This single malt has an ABV of 44.6%.
