The Nikka Single Malt Miyagikyo 12 year is made at the Miyagikyo Distillery, which was built in 1969 and is Nikka’s second distillery.
The Miyagikyo single malt delivers robust fruity flavours with strong aromas of sherry - influenced by sherry oak casks.
The whisky is made using a malt containing less peat and is distilled in a pot still which is then heated by a unique method of indirect steam.
Although being light-bodied, this whisky is packed with flavour. You will detect ginger, cinnamon, apple, coconut and tobacco flavours and aromas.
Miyagikyo Single Malt is botted with an alcohol content of 45.0%.
