Timboon Christies Cut is named after Inspector John Christie - the man who was selected by the Victorian Government to capture illegal distiller Tom Delaney in the 1890s.
The spirit is meant to capture the traits of John Christie - big, bold and full of character. This 60% single malt is aged for five years in small ex-port barrels between 25-50 litres which allows rich flavours and aromas to emerge.
This is a beautiful single malt with strong characteristics of vanilla, fruit and butterscotch.
