This rare, super-premium blend of Single Pot Still and Single Malt whiskeys was finished in 5 Marsala wine ‘hogshead’ casks from the Florio winery in Sicily. This triple-distilled, natural non-chill filtered, non-peated whiskey is bottled at an ABV of 45%, which is 5% stronger than Writers’ Tears – Copper Pot is usually bottled at.
Nose: Dashes of sweet vanilla, notes of cinnamon, plum & poached pear.
Taste: Lingering notes of caramelised apple, nutty spices and wildflower honey with a sea-kissed finish straight from the Sicilian shores.
