Whisky overview:
The Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2007 was harvested in 2006 and distilled in 2007. the grain for this iconic whisky was grown for Bruichladdich in the Minister’s Field at Rockside Farm by Mark & Rohaise French. Great structure. Firm, muscular & more complex than expected. Several layers of flavour are melding into a barley sugar & oak mellowed texture while drifting over sweet kiln-dried barley. The senses are singing with joy as it zings over the palate leaving no doubt as to the island of its birth.
